Paris Hilton Loves Poker

As the number of women playing poker nationwide grows, so does the number of female celebrities involved. While Jennifer Tilly, Cheryl Hines, and Shannon Elizabeth are well-known for their enthusiasm and skill regarding poker, a new celebrity has come forth confessing her affection for poker.

Paris Hilton was spotted gambling in Atlantic City over the weekend, indulging at a poker table. Paris told OK! magazine that she only got to play for about forty-five minutes, which she said was much shorter than her Las Vegas sessions.

Paris stated, "I love to gamble. I love being around a lot of people. There's always great restaurants and it's fun. I like Atlantic City - it's kind of like Las Vegas for New York."

Paris is not known for her intellect, and if she is found to be a frequent winner, poker's reputation as a skill game might be damaged. On the other hand, everyone knows the advantages in being the chip leader, and Paris was born a chip leader when Hilton was declared her surname.

Besides, isn't it every player's dream to sit opposite a rich opponent with limited knowledge? Better to take pots from Paris than get crushed by Jen Tilly.
